Ashes2Ashes has a pretty typical beginning, as I come from a family of fashion entrepreneurs. From growing up in my mothers' clothing boutique to watching my sister design and create her brand to perfection, I guess you can say fashion is in my blood. While I may not be good with a needle and thread, I am EXCELLENT at shopping! And for the last few years I have gotten it down almost to a science. Too much in fact. My closets are bursting at the seams with amazing hand picked pieces I found while thrifting in Paris, London, California etc.
One day while doing what I do best, I found a pair of vintage Italian leather Pollini boots that didn't fit me. But, I just could not let them get away. That day in that boutique it just clicked for me... I should open my own boutique and share my passion with the world! Isn't that what we are all here to do anyways?! Spread love in any way we know how?
Now I know for some, "ashes to ashes" can sound a little dark as it comes from the Book of Common Prayer for funeral services, however I find it beautiful, poetic and quite representative of a life cycle. Much like vintage clothing as because of you and your sick style it is constantly given new life!
Thus, I present to you... MYSELF... as ASHES2ASHES VINTAGE.
